Have you got your Blue CSCS card?

CSCS cards

Did you know that there is a range of different CSCS cards to cover different roles in the construction industry? We advise our customers on the type of card they require based on their current occupation, previous experience and qualifications.   CSCS stands for Construction Skills Certification Scheme card.

The CSCS card is fast becoming the national safety and skills standard for individuals and companies in the UK construction industry. The government aims to register every competent construction worker through the CSCS scheme. Many companies are now being asked to certificate their workforce in order to qualify for certain contracts.

The Blue CSCS card will allow an individual to gain access to all UK construction sites and will be awarded on completion of a Construction related NVQ or SVQ level 2 and or the completion of an employer sponsored apprenticeship, which included the achievement of a City and Guilds of London Institute Craft Certificate.

At Geason Training we are completing NVQ’s on site within a twelve week lead time. This lead time varies depending on the type of qualification you require.

The Blue CSCS card is valid for five years. Ensure you don’t get left behind – employers and employees have a great opportunity with a valid card and it is often used as a site safety passport.

Contact our team with for advice on achieving the card through training on 0330 088 9596 or post a web enquiry to us at
