Charitable Challenges

We love a challenge and this month has seen our staff take part in several activities from obstacle courses to cycling in support of various charities.

It’s a Knock Out

On Saturday 8th September, we braved the elements and competed in It’s a Knockout at Glasgow Green in support of The Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice.
The Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice looks after the palliative care needs of people living in and around greater Glasgow.

Although we competed in two teams on the day, at Geason Training we’re one team so we will share the overall 2nd place victory!  The support we received in terms of donations and encouragement was fantastic.  We’re still looking to reach our target so if you’d like to donate to the work of The Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice – you can find our Just Giving Page here.  All donations are greatly appreciated.

The Spartan Race

Our Enrolment Department Manager Mark Hyndman took part in the Spartan Race in support of Funding Neuro.
The Spartan Race is a series of obstacle races of varying distance and difficulty.  Funding Neuro focus on making sure that the most promising research in neuroscience makes it out of the lab and to the patient. Their aim is to accelerate the development of new treatments for many of the most serious neurological conditions.

On Your Bike

Our Managing Director Ian Kilpatrick recently took part in a three-day 317 mile cycle challenge from London to Brussels in support of Action Medical Research.  The charity is dedicated to improving the health of babies and children, funding research to beat the diseases that devastate the lives of so many of our children.
