Matthew has completed his plastering apprenticeship

Congratulations to our learner, Matthew Moores, who has just completed his two year Level 2 Apprenticeship in Plastering. Following Matthew’s success we asked him some questions regarding his apprenticeship and his learning and development progress with Geason Training.

Why did you choose the apprenticeship route as opposed to doing another qualification?

I chose to do an apprenticeship so that could I do practical rather than theory.

How was the relationship with and support from your company and Geason Training?

Phenomenal.

How has your apprenticeship developed you as an individual?

I feel like I have developed in all aspects of my personal skills.

What do you want to achieve at the end of your qualification?

I would in time, love to progress to tutoring young people and give them the same opportunity I have been given.

What you may progress on to?

I have discussed my options with Lynda at Geason Training and I would like to keep my options open.

Would you recommend it to others in the industry?

Definitely. I have thoroughly enjoyed my apprenticeship with Geason Training and would recommend it to all my friends.

The Geason Training team commented that.

Matthew has excelled in his Brickwork apprenticeship and has always been punctual and engaged in all learning tasks he has been given.  In addition, Matthew has been an excellent student, always attended his training sessions and has been extremely polite and courteous to all staff at all times. He has been a pleasure to have in our training centre and we wish him every success in the future.
