Construction Site Supervision | General Building Pathway

This programme is designed for those currently working in the Construction industry. This Apprenticeship is an ideal next-step qualification route for persons who have been promoted from either a craft role or a junior technical role to a new position that carries responsibilities such as: supervisory and team management duties, work planning duties, budget control, health, safety and welfare responsibilities as well as general leadership and client-facing duties

Who is this suitable for?

This qualification is ideal for candidates over 18, who already work in the construction industry and are required to supervise the day to day running of a construction site. This is an academic and competency based qualification; good study skills are required along with the ability to work on projects.

Entry Requirement

Our Construction Site Supervision programme is designed to develop participants throughout their careers in the construction industry. Success on the Construction Site Supervision programme may lead to employees being able to progress on to advanced level vocational study and achievement at QCF NVQ Levels 6 and 7 and with the inclusion of the HNC, direct academic study applications to degree routes are also supported. The Higher Apprenticeship qualifications are endorsed and recognised by professional bodies such as the APM, CIOB, RICS and the ICE, and for some will also support applications to corporate membership, e.g. the achievement of MCIOB designation with the CIOB.
