Progressive learning

IntermediateLevel 2
An intermediate apprenticeship is equivalent to five good GCSEs. Apprentices work towards technical skills qualifications at level 2, such as BTEC certificates and diplomas. In addition, apprentices are supported to develop English and Maths skills through the completion of Functional Skills qualifications. Qualifications combined with the skills learnt in the workplace allow apprentices to progress in their career and provide an opportunity to progress into an advanced apprenticeship.
AdvancedLevel 3
Advanced apprenticeships are equivalent to two A levels. As with the intermediate apprenticeship, advanced apprentices undertake vocational qualifications while also learning valuable skills directly from their employment. If required apprentices will also have access to English and Maths skills development through the completion of Functional Skills qualifications. On the successful completion of the advanced apprenticeship, opportunities to progress onto Higher level apprentices are available.
Higher LevelLevel 4 & 5
Higher level apprentices study for an undergraduate level qualification such as a level 4 HNC, or level 5 foundation degree. Geason Training have extensive knowledge about available funding and how to maximise the opportunities afforded by the Apprenticeship Levy. Our expert team will guide you through the options.
Degree LevelLevel 6
Geason Training and Glasgow Caledonian University (London Campus) have formed a strategic partnership to create a range of flexible Degree Apprenticeships, funded using the Apprenticeship Levy. With our unique delivery system students will have minimal disruption to their working responsibilities. Using a blended teaching model means that classroom based teaching is limited to 3 weeks out of 52 each year. Online study will follow and learners will be supported by their employer throughout the duration of their studies.
