Interior Systems - Dry Lining Finishing

Dry  Lining is a system for cladding the internal faces of building, such as walls and ceilings. Plasterboard is attached to in the internal faces, creating a smooth surface that finishes such as paint can be applied to directly, meaning a ‘wet 'plaster finish is not required. 

Who is this suitable for?

This course is designed for workers within the dry lining trade to gain a recognised qualification.
To enroll on this course all candidates must be 19 years or older with at least 12 months experience within the trade.

  • Conforming to General Health, Safety & Welfare
  • Safe working practices
  • Moving, handling and storing resources
  • Finishing Dry Lining walls or ceilings


The Assessment methods include:

  • Practical Assessment in the work setting
  • Opportunities to access group training
  • Individualised study

This qualification allows the operatives to gain their NVQ Level 2 Cskills certificate which will enable them to apply & obtain their blue skilled workers card (CSCS card) – either online or by post.

Dedicated support
