IT Support Administrator Apprentice (Partner Vacancy)

The Opportunity

Are you a practical problem solver?

Our client is an IT Support company based in Sawley Nottinghamshire & they are looking for another IT apprentice to join their team.

The Role

Expected Duration - 12 Months  Hours - Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm

You will provide 1st & 2nd line support and telecoms management, to clients regarding; hardware, software & technical issues.

Entry Requirements

Must hold 5 GCSEs (graded A* to C or 9 to 5) or equivalent including English/ Maths and have been a resident in the UK/EEA/EU for the last 3 years.


Typical Roles and Responsibilities may include but aren’t limited to the following:

Technical Support

  • Providing 1st Line IT support for clients as and when raised
  • Desktop Support for colleagues
  • Setting up new user accounts
  • Software Installation
  • Network cabling
  • Phone system installation
  • Troubleshoot IT related issues such as checking internet connection, logging in to the router.
  • Fault diagnostics on hardware/software faults

The candidate will report directly to the company directors but will work very closely with the existing Technical Support team.

Progression Opportunities

For the appropriate candidate the potential to progress onto a Level 4 apprenticeship or secure a full-time position will be available.

Important Information

The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £3.70 per hour. This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18-year-old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
