Painting and Decorating

Painting and Decorating
Level 2
14 Months

Painters and decorators apply paint and wallpaper to the inside of buildings and paint and add protective coverings to wall exteriors. They work indoors and outdoors, decorating people’s homes, new and old buildings, commercial and industrial premises. They often work from a ladder, elevated platform, suspended cradle or scaffolding. A large part of a painter’s time is spent preparing the surfaces they are going to decorate. Painters and decorators apply paint by brush, roller or spraying equipment.
