This programme is designed for both those moving into or currently working in the Property Maintenance sector. This apprenticeship covers a range of maintenance tasks, working with external contractors and providing first and immediate response to fault finding, whilst maximising quality and ensuring cost effectiveness. Typically, this qualification takes 12 months to complete.

Who is this suitable for?

This course is designed for both new apprentices moving into a Property Maintenance role or for existing employees to upskill, gain recognition and support a multi-skilled workforce. No prior experience is necessary.

What will apprentices learn?

This programme covers the following subject areas:

  • Health & Safety  compliance
  • Working safely at heights
  • Carrying out repairs to a building
  • Maintaining plumbing and drainage systems
  • Maintaining electrical distribution in a building
  • Maintaining plant, safety systems and equipment
  • Energy, environment and sustainability practices
  • Maintaining the outside of a building
  • Using specialist tools and equipment to carry out repairs

Once the learners are enrolled on the programme, they will be assigned a Skills Trainer together with support from a Student Engagement Coach and English and Maths tutor where required. Our apprenticeships are delivered using various proven learning methods:*
