We met with Danny Sullivan Group in May 2017 to discuss their situation around CITB grants and Apprenticeship Levy costs and how these could be best utilised. A key requirement was to ensure they were able to maintain their excellent safety standards and commitment to both national a local level training and development programmes.
We enrolled 157 learners, 66 of whom achieved a Level 1 Certificate to give them a foundation that they can build on. For candidates that already had the basis to progress we facilitated the following 91 apprenticeships:
L2 Apprenticeship Construction Operations - 62
L3 Apprenticeship Construction Contracting Operations | Occupational Work Supervision - 22 L4 Apprenticeship in Construction Site Supervision -7
In addition to this progressive learning program for DSG, we worked with Anascena Search to enrol ex-armed forces personnel and help them to make the shift to a new career in civilian life. Also, we conducted slinger signaller training which enables candidates to gain a CPCS red card and be more employable in the industry.
Geason proved their worth as the ideal training partner with their comprehensive understanding of the Levy system and the subsequent training and development programme. As a result, we were able to maximise our return on previously unallocated costs.
