Thermal Insulation – Fit Protection
Thermal Insulation is the reduction of heat transfer between objects in thermal contact or in range of radiative influence. Thermal Insulation can be achieved with specially engineered methods or processes, as well as with suitable object shapes and materials. Heat flow is an inevitable consequence of contact between objects of different temperature.
This course is designed for workers within the Thermal Insulation trade to gain a recognised qualification.
To enroll on this course all candidates must be 19 years or older with at least 12 months experience within the trade.

This qualification allows the operative to gain their NVQ Level 2 City & Guilds certificate. This will enable them to apply for their blue TICA Skilled Worker Card (CSCS Partner) via the TICA website. In addition applicants must successfully complete a 1 day TICA Competency Assessment.
